Au Pair Clearinghouse Receives Over 4000 Visits a Month!
Thank you - we are very pleased to know we are accomplishing our goal, which is to help parents find good, reliable and safe childcare that is cost effective. There are hundreds of au pair agencies out there and only 12 that are supervised by the U.S. government. For many parents, there are too many choices! Which agency is the best in terms of customer service, screening of au pairs, matching you with an au pair who can drive your children around, etc.? We have the answers to those questions and more!
We launced our website in December of 2009 and now we enjoy over 4000 visits a month! That is a lot of viewing and we are very happy with our progress to date. In 2010, we plan to provide even more reviews and surveys to increase our ability to assist parents in finding their "perfect" au pair, year after year!

Great resource for parents matching with au pairs
Hi, I agree! I have been reading this Website for about a month now, and I just signed in to say, THANK YOU! You have made our life so much easier - all the stuff we want to read about: agencies, countries, advice about au pairs, news stories, great links and your blog and forums, it is all wonderful!
We finally are ready to take the plunge and we are actually going to apply to the two top agencies you rate here and see what their au pairs are like. We are very excited and the children want to help find their au pair too!
We did try the goaupair feature, and sadly, we stopped completing pages after the 3rd one - it is a family application and we were not sure we wanted to go with them, but it is too bad they made this plunder, because of your nice write-up about goaupair we were considering them and we liked the idea of using the Au Pair Review feature (and as a new family) but we were not ready to give out our personal information to that extent. We would be happy to do this if we were signing a contract, but just to view certain parts of their website, sorry, NO!
If is is supposed to be free, then it should be. An agency's honesty is important to us, and we were turned off by the whole experience.
Anyway, this started out as a positive testimonial on aupairclearinghouse, not a complaint against goaupair.

You are welcome and thank you for commenting! Try out the goAUPAIR Au Pair Review, they have made changes to make it easier for a parent to register and view available au pairs. Also, check out Au Pair in America, Au Pair USA and USA Au Pair's au pair reviews - they are very user friendly and you can register quickly and easily to view au pairs that are waiting to match with a host family!

Actually, I did mean usaupair.com - they have their own au pair review, called Au Pair Gallery: http://www.usaupair.com/hostfamily/available.html. I should have included both agency's links to ther au pair review features in my above post. We are working on an article comparing each au pair agency au pair review feature. We will also include AuPairCare and Cultural Care (who uses videos - really neat). Look for the article that is coming soon!
