aupair care
We have been very pleased with au pair care au pair agency. Our au pairs are well screened and our local support has been very good and very reliable. We have her cell phone and house phone, so we can call her during her working hours (she says we can call anytime, but we are saving that option in case of a real emergency!!) and she calls us right back if she doesn't pick up the call right away, which is about 90% of the time. I highly recommend this agency to any host parent looking around for a great au pair agency.

We also swtiched from Au Pair
We also swtiched from Au Pair in America to Au Pair Care and we have been very happy. We also found that Au Pair in America had poor screening and lacked the ability or interest to really work with our family to ensure that we were happy. We had two great au pairs from that agency, but as soon as there was a problem, Au Pair in America completely fell apart. There was no support at all.
We switched to Au Pair Care two years ago and have been very happy. We did enounter a problem with an au pair last year, and the response was great. Highly recommend them over Au Pair in America.
We like au pair care very much.
We switched from Au Pair in America to Au Pair Care. Au pair in america was a disaster for us. Their au pairs (we had 2) were mentally unstable, one had bipolar (it is a mood disorder) and we found her in the bathroom screaming one morning. It was very frightening. It was difficult to get the office to understand she needed to be in a hospital, and not in our home. This agency, if they have any trouble with any of their au pairs, sends them quickly home to their country. They dont' want any problems here on USA soil and they get them on the plane as soon as they can. The counselors are mostly older women who have no professional training at all, and are not very open to different cultures ( they are mostly white, older women of moderate means and without college degrees). My counselor said inappropriate things to my Thai au pair and my Mexican au pair, you just knew she didn't like because of there backgrounds. Even though we were having major issues with both au pairs, we didn't appreciate her comments that bordered on racism. Why would a company hire such a person to work with international students, we were just flabbergasted.
Au Pair Care is great, our counselor is young (30ish), very open to all cultures, has a master's degree in social work (wow) and is very professional and full of energy. She doesn't hesitate to get right in there and work, compared to our older counselors at Au Pair in America, who never really planned any good cluster meetings, nothing outside and active, and seemed bored and worn out by the effort it took to do their job.
Try a fresh approach, Au Pair Care has it.
Au Pair Care is very good
Pelham, I have to agree 100% percent, au pair care is very good, very reliable. Where are you located?
I am in the south and we love our counselor. She is very friendly, warm and cannot seem to do enough for us.
Our au pair, who is from Germany, is very sweet and very smart. She loves taking college courses and is an excellent driver. We are hoping she stays another year with us and our family.
My sister is now looking for an agency, she lives in CA and she called me and said she was thinking of having a girl come from Cultural Care and I said "no" and sent her this website, and of course, she changed her mind, but I wanted her to read the reviews, not just the news stories. I cannot find them!
