My name is Gloria, I'm 20 years old and I'm an au pair. I'm not sure if this is the right place for au pairs to ask about their doubts, but I'll try anyway.
I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I want to know about your experiences with argentinian au pairs. What about our culture?do you like it? would you like having an argentinian au pair?
I've already have a match, a great family from Philadelphia, and I'm so happy about this possibility. Here in my country is so important to have good English skills to find a good job. It's so hard for me leaving my family, my friends and everything I love, but I've made my decision and I'm sure I'm on the right way.
It's not easy to read all the bad stuffs about au pairs, agencies and host families. Not here but everywhere. I think this is a hard decision for both, au pairs and host families. Anyway, it could be just great! we can learn from each other, share experiences, likes, habits, whatever we want. As an au pair, I really trust in this programm. I know every culture is one of a kind but the respect and the commitment must be shared qualities.
