Ricardo was my friend

Hey, Ricardo was a friend oof mine and he had problems with the program and with the family, as this woman says.

Cultlare Care does not always tell the entire truth and they don't want all peoples to know that there are problems when they are many. I work close with Ricardo and he is a great person but problems with the LCC and the child and arguments with the mother became too mcuh for him. Personal problems were not the reason he left. Ricardo's Sudden Disappearance

Edina, did you ever follow up with this au pair and did she send you an email with any details?

VERY CURIOUS as Cultural Care agency is my agency's nemisis! Counselors at my agency (which I will not name here, for obvious reasons) feel Cultural Care has lost sight of what it means to be a good, ethical au pair agency in favor of the holy dollar.

They out market us everytime, spending thousands of dollars on ads, etc., instead of spending the money on good counselors and screening of the au pairs.

I know LCCs from that company who tell horror stories about the agency - did you know there are ongoing law suits pending and that many LCCs have left the agency in DROVES??

No Follow-Up

Hi - no, I have not heard from this au pair or friend of Ricardo since she posted this comment.  Oftentimes, au pairs are afraid to reveal information about trouble in their clusters, since they feel they may be sent home or get into trouble themselves.  They are here to enjoy their year and to travel, go to college, and they would like a trouble-free stay.  She may get back to me or not!
