Interview with Nancy Felix, author of Oh My, Au Pair!
Hi Readers, I have a real treat for you!
I just posted my interview with Nancy Felix, a veteran host mom of over 14 years. It was a delight to interview her and she knows quite a bit about hosting au pairs!
Her new guide on au pairs covers the basic questions, like what is an au pair? and how do I choose an agency? to interview tips, creating the best au pair rooms, rules, curfews, relationship issues, mediation and counselors, and finally, at the end of the program year, how best to say good bye to your au pair.

Hi, loved the interview and was interested enough to check out the book online - think I will order it even though I am not a new host parent - I like to collect books in any interesting subject and I don't have any yet on au pairs!

Wow, I have not been on the site in a while, since I used the site for matching with our current au pair (about 4 months ago - she just arrived). You really have a lot more content and things going on here and I am glad I happened by with my forum question (tattoos and au pairs).
I really enjoyed reading the interview with Felix (I am going to buy this book for my wife, who needs a present right now, ha ha, and hopefully it will have something in that book on aupairs with tattoos?).
I also liked the discount pages you are posting - very convenient for parents who don't want to spend a whole lot of time online searching around all the agencies to see what the best deals are!

Edina, thanks so much for posting this wonderful interview. I just ordered the book and I cannot wait until it comes. I have had 3 au pairs but still would love to have this on my shelf - I am not as experienced as this author is (14 au pairs, "oh my god, my au pair!" should be the title). Bless her!

I really enjoyed the interview - not sure if I will order the book, I am an "expert" of sorts myself on au pairs, having had many so far, and I can always come here to aupairclearinghouse to get my questions answered! Sounds like the host mom did a good job on the book, from what I can tell from the interview....
